The wild

Unruined creeks. Unruined skin.

Nature is not a backdrop. It is not a resource. It is not a photo opportunity. It is the thing that made us, the thing that sustains us, and the thing that will outlast us. To ruin it is to ruin ourselves. The creeks are not for dumping. The skin is not for decorating. The land is not for consuming.

The modern world treats nature as a commodity to be extracted and a canvas to be altered. We do neither. The creek runs clean because we keep it clean. The skin stays natural because we do not need it to be anything else. The beauty of both is not in what we add — it is in what we leave alone.
